Postpartum Support

Your postpartum recovery deserves more than a six-week clearance. Whether you had a vaginal birth, cesarean birth, or birth trauma, healing is layered — muscular, connective tissue, hormonal, and nervous system based. Postpartum pelvic physical therapy helps you rebuild strength, restore coordination, and confidently return to the activities you love. It is appropriate at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, or YEARS after birth. Postpartum is forever!

The “6-Week Clearance” Is Outdated

The traditional six-week postpartum check was designed to screen for infection and basic healing, NOT to evaluate core strength, pelvic floor function, scar mobility, or readiness for exercise. Being “cleared” does not mean:

  • Your abdominal wall has regained strength

  • Your pelvic floor is fully functional

  • Your scar tissue is mobile

  • Your body is ready for impact

You deserve guidance before and after six weeks.

Gentle, intentional movement in the early postpartum period can:

  • Support circulation and tissue healing

  • Improve breathing mechanics

  • Reduce pelvic heaviness

  • Prevent compensatory patterns

  • Support mental and emotional recovery

Early care does not mean intense exercise, it means strategic, supportive rehabilitation for both body and mind.
